North Yorkshire Police are seeking the public's assistance following a racially-aggravated assault on a teenage boy that occurred on the Coastliner 843 bus on Monday, 2 February.
The incident took place around 3.20pm near the Seamer Road bus stop in Scarborough.
According to the police, the victim was subjected to both physical assault and racist abuse from a male and a female suspect. This troubling incident has raised concerns within the community about safety and the prevalence of racial abuse in public spaces.
Detective Sam Thompson, leading the investigation, stated,
"We are determined to identify those responsible for this assault and bring them to justice. We encourage anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward."
