North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue assisted a child who had his arm stuck in a lift, on Sunday night.
It happened just before 8pm, in the town, with a crew from Scarborough responding to reports of a child in distress.
They released his arm, which was trapped in a lift, using small tools.
The boy was then transported to Scarborough Hospital with a suspected broken arm.
