The teenagers were cut off by the rising tide near Primrose Valley yesterday afternoon and were rescued by the Filey Inshore Lifeboat.
The Inshore boat was called out at 5:00pm yesterday, during the high spring tide.
On their Facebook page, Filey Lifeboat Station posted about the rescue:
2 teenagers cut off by the tide near to Primrose Valley.
Ilb recovered the casualties and returned back to the boathouse.
The coastguard was waiting for them at the boathouse to return them back to Primrose Valley.
The tides this week are very high so please be more aware and give yourselves plenty of time to get of the beach.
