A group of Scarborough Athletic FC supporters are doing a 20-mile sponsored walk for the club this June.
On June 27th, the Valley Bar Seadogs supporters club will embark on a sponsored walk from Hawsker to Scarborough, along the cinder path.
All funds raised will benefit Scarborough Athletic Football Club and manager Darren Kelly's playing budget. Darren, as well as some members of the coaching staff, including assistant boss Jimmy Beadle, will be joining them on the 20-mile fundraising walk.
They'll be walking down the Cinder Path from Whitby and have arranged for a bus to take walkers from Scarborough Train Station to the former Hawsker Station.
Their final destination is The Valley Bar on Valley Road, Scarborough, where there will be a buffet waiting.
Organiser Chris Pilmer told Paddy all about the walk plans and how it came about:
If you're interested and want to sign up, please feel free to get in touch with Valley Bar Seadogs for a sponsorship form by emailing: valleybarseadogs@mail.com.
