Silver Celebration Planned for Scarborough Rainbow Centre

Scarborough's Rainbow centre will be celebrating it's 25th Birthday next month.

Scarborough's Rainbow Centre is preparing to celebrate a quarter of a century.

The community hub will turn 25 next month.

Ros Dyson from the centre says they will be celebrating by throwing open the doors.

The community Hub will be holding an open day to mark the 25th anniversary.

Trustee Graham Parkins says the centre has touched the lives of many local families over the last quarter of a century.

The open day is planned for Saturday September 17th from 10am until 4pm. There are also plans for a service of thanksgiving on Sunday September 18th at St Mary's Church starting at 2:30pm.
