A man has been arrested after what Police describe as a "Serious Incident"
North Yorkshire Police say that are currently at the scene of a serious incident in Thornton-le-Dale which took place shortly before 12pm today (5 January 2022).
Officers say that a man has been arrested and investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A scene guard is currently in place and is expected to remain for some time.
