The water park will reopen on Wednesday July 24th.
North Yorkshire Council took possession of the Alpamare Water Park in Scarborough last December after the previous operator entered administration and closed down the attraction.
In May the Council appointed Flamingo Land as the new operator for the water park, initially on a short term basis.
Gordon Gibb, Flamingo Land’s chief executive and owner, said it was “an exciting new venture” for the company.
Since then Flamingo Land have been bringing the site back to operational status and today North Yorkshire Council confirmed that the site will reopen to the public on Wednesday July 24th at 10am and will be operated by Flaming Land until November.
