The firm behind a new 650m long Zip Wire attraction for Scarborough say it will bring people to the town.
Scarborough's North Bay will provide a unique location for a new Zip Wire attraction.
That's the view of Big Bang Promotions who have been given planning permission to build a 650 meter long zip line in the resort.
Managing Director - James Field - thinks it's going to be big attraction for tourists.
The company say they believe that the construction of a 650 meter long zip wire in Scarborough's North bay will be a major pull for visitors.
Planners last week gave permission for the Zip Wire to be built at Scarborough's North Bay and to remain in place for five years.
James Field from Big Bang Promotions says they will be promoting the zip wire nationwide.
The wire will run from the former Mr Marvel’s Leisure Park to the south of the Scalby Mills Miniature Railway Station.
James Field, said his company would “start work to get the site ready straight away” and “hopefully have it ready this summer”
