All the goals came in the 2nd half in chilly conditions at the Flamingo Land Stadium in Scarborough last night.
Boro boss Jonathan Greening said it "wasn't the prettiest game of football" but he's delighted with the 3 points.
Both teams had chances in the first half but it was the Seadogs who opened the scoring on 58 minutes, with Man Of The Match Will Thornton heading in from a corner.
Scarborough were pegged back just a few minutes later when Peterborough Sports equalised through a Dan Jarvis header.
The home fans were soon bouncing again as Boro restored their lead just 5 minutues later, a through ball from Kieran Glynn saw Ciaran McGuckin score what turned out to be the winner in front of nearly 1200 fans.
