Scarborough Rugby March On After Latest Victory

Scarborough RUFC won a thriller in West Yorkshire and are now just four points adrift of North East 2 leaders Bradford Salem.

Matty Jones' men beat Pontefract 31-29 on Saturday and stay third.

In the same division, Malton & Norton defeated Goole 17-10.

Driffield enjoyed a 17-10 victory of their own, in North East One, over Ilkley.

Bridlington were well beaten in Yorkshire One, 40-3, at Dukes Park, by Keighley.

Hornsea are second in Yorkshire Four North after beating promotion rivals York RI 15-13.

In the only match that went ahead on Saturday in Durham & Northumberland Division Three, Whitby forced a rare draw, 10-10 with Jarrovians.
