Competitive Rugby returns to Scarborough Rugby Club today with a tens tournament at Silver Royd.
While the clubs on field activities have been disrupted by COVID over the last year the club itself as been busy working as a vaccination centre for local GP practises.
Operations Manager, Graeme Jeffrey says it's been rewarding to see the facilities being used.
Today the club stage a Rugby 10's tournament, Graeme Jeffrey says they are now gearing up for the start of the new Rugby season in September and for providing more of their normal services to the local community.
The 10's tournament gets underway at 10am and will see dozens of sides vying to be crowned champions of the inaugural event.
The event is free to enter. There will be refreshments available around the ground as well as entertainments including bouncy castles.
The event is scheduled to finish at 5pm in time for fans to watch the final Lions test match.
