North Yorkshire Police say a missing 14-year-old girl from Scarborough has been found.
The teenager had been missing from home since 1.50pm on Wednesday (28 June 2023).
Her worried family reported her missing to the police after she failed to return home.
On Thursday the police issued an urgent appeal to find the girl.
In an update on Friday evening officers said:
"A teenage girl missing from home in Scarborough has been found safe. Many thanks to all those who shared the appeal."
