Scarborough Fire Station will today open it's doors to members of the public for their annual open day.
It gives people the chance to go along and meet the crew and other services that strive to keep our community safe and healthy.
Mandy Pepworth, who's community safety office for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, says that there are a lot of interactive activities for people to get involved with.
The event get's underway at 11am and runs until 4pm and there will be a live car cutting demonstration, interactive activities, a quiz with prizes and a road safe films that will run throughout the day.
Mandy Hepworth hopes that the open day will show all the work that the fire station do and the organisations that they work with.
