43% of COVID fines issued in North Yorkshire last week were in the Scarborough Borough.
North Yorkshire Police say they have issued a further 134 Fixed Penalty Notices for breaches of the Coronavirus regulations since the January 12th.
That takes the total number of fines issued since the third national lockdown began on January 6th to 241 and the total since March last year to 2129.
In the last week the Scarborough Borough accounted for 57 of the 134 fines issued with 47 of those going to local residents and 46 of them for breaches of the indoor gathering rules.
