The authority is encouraging 16 and 17 year old's to apply for some of the roles it has on offer.
The Borough Council says it has a range of job opportunities available this summer across a range of the services it provides, and that it's keen to receive more applications from younger people.
In the latest residents news letter the council says :
"If you have a 16 or 17-year-old in your household, or you know someone who does, here’s something which may be of interest to them.
Scarborough Spa is recruiting catering assistants and supervisors, general services assistants, and event bartenders (you’ll need to be aged 18 or over to serve alcohol).
