Boro followed up Saturday's success over Banbury to edge out the then-league-leaders Blyth Spartans on Tuesday night.
The Seadogs saw off the Northumberland side as Harry Green fired home his first goal for Boro right at the end.
It sent most of the crowd home happy ahead of Saturday's trip to South Shields.
The Boro boss Jono Greening spoke to Scarborough Athletic TV after the final whistle:
The Seadogs head to the North East on Saturday to take on old NPL Premier adversaries South Shields, who were promoted to National North last season.
Kick-off is 3pm and there's live coverage on This is The Coast Extra.
