Scarborough Athletic manager Jono Greening is urging supporters to back the team as they face National North play-off rivals Merthyr Town at the Mounting Systems Stadium in Bridlington this Saturday.
Scarborough Athletic are preparing for a crucial fixture this Saturday as they take on National North play-off rivals Merthyr Town.
The highly anticipated clash will take place at the Mounting Systems Stadium in Bridlington, with Boro looking to secure their spot in the end-of-season play-offs.
With only two matches remaining in the current campaign, the team finds themselves in a strong position to extend their season and fight for promotion.
Scarborough Athletic manager Jono Greening has issued a rallying cry to the supporters, asking them to turn out in numbers to back the squad on the Yorkshire Coast.
The Boro boss told SAFC TV he's positive about his side's efforts, so far, this campaign:
"If you had said to us at the start of the season, you've got two games to go to cement your place in the in the play-offs, we'd have snapped your hands off. So, you know, loads of positives to take. Massive, massive game. We obviously need everyone to come and support us, help us out, you know, be our twelfth man and try and get us over the line. And then if we get a good result and other results, turn out our way and we get cemented in the play-offs, then great. If not, we've got to go again the week after. It's as simple as that."
Kick-off at the Mounting Systems Stadium is 3pm.

A victory on Saturday, coupled with favourable results elsewhere, could see Scarborough Athletic mathematically guarantee their play-off position this weekend.
However, the manager acknowledges that if things do not completely go their way in Bridlington, the team will need to refocus and prepare to fight again in their final fixture of the regular season away at Bedford Town on Saturday 25th April, at 12.30pm.
