Luca Colvile put Boro ahead inside two minutes.
However, their opponents Tonbridge Angels, from Kent, hit back midway through the first half.
Frank Mulhern ensured the Seadogs went in ahead at the break though with a spectacular second.
However, National South levelled at National North again before the end as the clash finished 2-2.
