Applications are now open for paid face-to-face fundraising roles with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in locations including Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, and Bridlington.
Applications are now open to become one of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s face-to-face fundraisers in North Yorkshire.
The paid roles are designed to help the lifesaving charity reach thousands of people every year. Successful applicants will be tasked with sharing important water safety messages with beachgoers and visitors who are attending some of the summer’s most popular events.
The position is also vital in helping the charity continue its lifesaving service by encouraging new supporters to sign up and donate to the cause.
A role within the face-to-face fundraising team offers flexible working arrangements in several prominent coastal locations, including Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, and Whitby.
Those who join the charity will receive full, high-quality training and competitive rates of pay. The role also provides an opportunity to develop valuable professional and personal skills.
This year, the lifesaving charity is looking to recruit approximately 160 face-to-face fundraisers. There is a wide variety of working patterns available, including part-time, full-time, seasonal, and year-round opportunities.
Lucy Hampson, Senior Face-to-Face Fundraising Manager at the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, said:
"Being a face-to-face fundraiser is a rewarding role; it is vital in helping to raise funds to support the RNLI’s lifesaving work and in delivering important water safety advice to those visiting the coast. If you’re friendly, approachable and interested in helping to share safety advice with thousands of beach visitors, it could be just the role for you.
Face-to- face fundraising jobs are very flexible and offer the chance to work in some stunning coastal locations. I’d encourage anyone, no matter what career you are considering, to take up the challenge and apply for a role today."
Vacancies are now available across the United Kingdom and Ireland, with a range of hours available from part-time to full-time to suit different lifestyles. Those interested can apply or find out more by visiting the charity's face-to-face fundraising website.
