Scarborough's Toy Service will be taking place tonight, with the Rotary Club praising people and businesses in the town for their generosity.
The event is the culmination of the town's annual toy appeal run by the Rotary Club and the Salvation Army.
Last year, over 20,000 toys were collected by local people and businesses.
Rotary president Nigel Wood says it makes a real difference to lots of families:
Toys were donated via a number of local businesses including:
- Peace of Mind Financial Solutions Limited, Falsgrave Road
- The Salvation Army Citadel, Alma Parade
- Bentley’s Coffee Shop, Aberdeen Walk
- EE Phone shop on Westborough
- Morrisons in Eastfield.
Mr Wood confirmed local people and businesses have once again come forward to support the appeal this year:
