Filey will have a full set of public toilets in time for the summer and they will include accessible facilities.
A replacement toilet block is being built on ravine road next month, concerns had been raised that it wouldn't be accessible for disabled users, but Filey Mayor - Jacqui Holden-Banks - says the revamp toilets at both Coble Landing and the Country Park are accessible.
The Mayor says it's great news for the town that the new facilities are finally here.
The Town Council has offered reassurance that the new toilets will provide accessible facilities after concerns were voiced about the specification of the new toilet block being built on Ravine Road.
That block is due to be installed next month, upgrades have also been carried on to the toilets at the country park.
Local North Yorkshire Councillor, Michelle Donohue-Moncrieff, says the new facilities are great news for the town.
