Road racing returns to Oliver's Mount in Scarborough this weekend as the Steve Henshaw Gold Cup takes place for the first time in two years.
The Gold Cup is the first major event to take place at the circuit following problems with buildings at the circuit.
Andy Hays, from Olivers Mount Racing, says getting events back on has been a long journey.
The race circuit had been out of action while a number of condemned buildings were demolished.
After a hill climb event last month, this weekend will see the first major event take place since the works.
Andy Hays says this weekend is all about restoring a sense of normality.
Friday will see practice and qualifying with the whole of Saturday and Sunday available for a full day’s racing with the Steve Henshaw feature race scheduled for Sunday.
Andy says the event this weekend will see some of the worlds top racers competing on the track, he's looking forwards to see the action and experiencing the atmosphere.
Tickets are available on the day from the vehicle entrance ticket offices (satnav YO11 2UG) accessed from A165 Filey Road and for pedestrians only at the Mere Hairpin and Mountside Hairpin ticket booths.
