Parts of Scarborough were hit by a power cut on Friday night.
Northern Powergrid say around 480 premises are affected by
"an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve your area."
We are facing a major power cut in this area. We are working towards restoring it as early as possible."
The power distributor says the issue was first reported at around 6:25pm, it hopes to have supplies restored by 1am.
