Bookings are said to be strong at local tourist attractions.
The school Easter break is underway, it traditionally marks the start of the Yorkshire Coast's tourism season.
And despite the variable weather over the last few weeks many local attractions are reporting good booking numbers.
Gareth Davies from North Yorkshire Water Park says bookings are looking buoyant.
Gareth says that despite the current economic climate the early signs are that visitors are keen to return to the Yorkshire Coast.
