On Friday, a Police digital display van was in Scarborough to help deter fatalities and serious injuries caused by one punch incidents.
Detective Superintendent Jonathan Sygrove and Detective Inspector Dominic Holroyd, from the Major Investigation Team, were on hand to talk to interested passers-by.
They emphasised key messages such as looking out for your mates on a night out.
And if things start to get a bit heated - often over something innocuous such as a spilled drink or getting bumped into in a busy bar - STOP, THINK and WALK AWAY to avoid a violent confrontation.
