Scarborough Police are investigating reports of fireworks being set off in the town.
Over New Years Eve into New Years Day, fireworks were set off from the pavements and central reservation on Northway. This occurred whilst vehicles were attempting to drive along the road.
As part of the investigation, police officers have visited multiple premiseson and in the surrounding streets and have spoken to businesses and residents.
Officers say:
"We have been trawling through CCTV footage and video recordings, unfortunately, the footage has been unclear, and we have so far, been unable to identify any suspects.
We are now appealing to the wider public.
