An appeal has been launched following a burglary in Thornton le Dale. The incident occurred at 00:07 on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, on Church Lane. A shed was broken into, and a Honda CRF 450 motorbike (VRM MV20 MTZ) and two electric bicycles were stolen.
North Yorkshire Police are particularly interested in hearing from witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage from Church Lane and the surrounding area. They are also asking people to report any sightings of the stolen motorbike and bicycles in the vicinity at the time of the incident.

According to reports, a suspect approached an address and threw a large brick through a window before fleeing. The suspect is described as a man, over six feet tall and of stocky build, wearing grey trainers, a black tracksuit, and a black hooded top with the hood up.
