North Yorkshire Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding two linked incidents that occurred on Saturday, 6 December 2025, in Scarborough town centre.
The police believe that these altercations, which involved teenagers, may be connected and are seeking witnesses to assist in their investigation.
The first incident took place around 4pm on St Nicholas Street, where a teenager was reportedly pinned against a wall and threatened. Just twenty minutes later, a second incident unfolded outside the train station on Westborough, where a group of eight teenage boys approached and assaulted two other teenage victims.
Authorities are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed these events. “We’re appealing for information from any witnesses of the two incidents,” a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police stated.
