Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with daschcam footage relating to a single-vehicle collision in Scarborough.
The collision occurred on Lady Ediths Drive, Scarborough, at about 6.40pm on Thursday 29 April 2021.
It involved a black Volvo C30 which was being driven from the direction of Forge Valley towards Scalby Road when it collided with a tree near to Yorkshire Coast College.
The driver and only occupant was a 28-year-old man who was airlifted to James Cook Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the black Volvo as it travelled towards the scene, or the collision itself, particularly anyone with dashcam footage.
