Plans to step up the number of events in Filey will result in a bumper May.
A new group has been formed in Filey to get more events staged in the town with an aim of bringing more visitors to the resort.
Paula Cassidy Bishop is one of the co-ordinators and says the activity will start in May.
The group is aiming to bring more people to the town across the year.
Among the events taking place in May will be the Filey Literature festival which has already seen a talk with the Yorkshire Shepherdess, Amanda Owen, sell out.
Other events will include the Filey Steampunk Festival in the middle of the month and the Filey Folk Festival at the beginning of May.
Paula says they decided to start there efforts by focussing on the one month.
