North Yorkshire Council are working to strengthen verges on Westgate, in Pickering, from Monday for 5 days.
Work will take place from 9.30am each day.
Two—way traffic lights will be in place while the work is being carried out.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
On-site personnel will assist in managing access to properties and businesses within the closure.
