Pickering Town Pegged Back By Parkgate

Tony Hackworth's men were beaten by Rotherham opposition on Saturday.

Pikes stay seventh in Northern Counties East Premier after a 2-1 reverse at Mill Lane.

All three goals came in a 16-minute period midway through the second half.

Parkgate led on the hour and doubled their advantage five minutes later.

Max Bauer pulled one back, 14 minutes from time, but Town were unable to level.

Parkgate are one place and one point behind Pikes now.

Attendance: 202

Pickering are back in action, at Northern League side Marske United in the North Riding Senior Cup Second Round, on Tuesday, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
