This Is The Coast's Paddy In The Morning and his other half Nicky, will complete 7 challenges in 7 months for The Rainbow Centre in Scarborough.
The first challenge is The Yorkshire Three Peaks this Saturday 18th April, part of an organised Rainbow Centre event.
Around 12 people will take part in the 24-mile hike, taking in the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
James Howard says it's a testing challenge:
Paddy, along with his other half Nicky, have decided to do 7 challenges in 7 months, one for each colour of the rainbow, culminating in a marathon in October.
Other events include a three-legged walk along the Cinder Track and '10,000 ACTUAL STEPS', going up and down the notorious McBean Steps in Scarborough's South Bay no less than 32 times!
They will also take on the famous Lyke Wake Walk, a 38-mile trek over the North York Moors from Osmotherley to Ravenscar.
The Rainbow Centre in Scarborough plays a vital role in the community:
We aim to support the residents of Scarborough by providing food parcels, financial advice/assistance, health screenings, vaccinations, and compassionate guidance — helping individuals and families meet immediate needs and move towards greater stability.
