Only Bridlington CC grabbed a win among our major Yorkshire Coast cricket sides on Saturday.
Brid restricted hosts Welton to 223/8, in YPN Championship East, from their 50 overs.
There were two wickets each for Ben Traves, Casey Rudd and Steve Janney.
Responding, the visitors got home with more than eight overs to spare, but only two wickets.
Russell Robinson's 60 from 58 balls was the highlight, with good support from Ricky Robinson, with 34 from 31 and Sam Wragg (33 from 31).
In the same division, Folkton & Flixton were well beaten, at home, by Woodhouse Grange 2nds.
Batting first, only Xanter Venter troubled the scorers with a superb 63 from 57 balls, Connor Stephenson provided useful support with 23 from 19, but there were no other scores of note as the villagers collapsed to 150 all out, in the 38th over.
The away side then reached their target with just two wickets lost, in the 36th over. Charlie Colley and Callum Hatton took the wickets.
A level up, in Yorkshire Premier North, Scarborough lost a tight affair, to Beverley Town, at North Marine Road.
The visitors, batting first, put on 167 for the first wicket. Matthew Turnbull took 2 for 50 as Beverley posted an imposing 283/4 from their 50 overs.
Scarborough started strongly- Jack Redhaw struck 80 from 77 balls as the opening pair put on 127. Robert Pinder quickly followed for 44 but Boro then built themselves into a strong position with Prince Bedi firing 66 and the hosts on 236/4.
However, a collapse saw them needing 10 from 5 balls and the final pair at the crease. Muhammad Ayub was then clean bowled for 9 and the game was all over.
In North Yorkshire South Durham Division One, Whitby suffered as Marton's ex-Yorkshire star Ryan Gibson smashed 168 from just 108 balls. It meant they could declare at a mammoth 324/5 from just 40 overs.
In reply, the visitors suffered a horror show posting just 54 all out, with skipper Theo Clarke's 14 being the top score.
