Chief Constable Lisa Winward talks about the change to the health protection regulations and what it means for travel.
The lockdown rules eased yesterday with the end of the stay at home rule, that's been replaced with a stay local message.
But how local is local? And is it legally enforceable??
North Yorkshire's Chief Constable Lisa Winward says the rules are different in the different nations of the UK but in England there is no legal restriction on how far you can now travel. However some other restrictions remain in place such as not being able to stay away from home overnight.
The end of the stay at home rule combined with the ability to meet outdoors in groups of up to six people and the arrival of some decent weather means that the Yorkshire Coast is likely to see an increase in visitors this week.
Chief Constable Lisa Winward says people need to take individual responsibility for deciding if travelling a distance is wise.
