There are now no Covid-19 patients remaining in Scarborough Hospital.
At the start of the year, as the third lockdown began, the number was above 40 but it has been reducing ever since.
The figures were confirmed at a meeting of North Yorkshire Local Resilience Forum this morning.
The final two coronavirus patients have now been discharged
The borough’s seven-day coronavirus infection rate per 100,000 people has also fallen and is now at 25, down two on Monday.
Residents were told that despite the good news on hospital numbers that they still had to be vigilant when it came to social distancing.
Amanda Bloor, is the Chief Accountable Officer at North Yorkshire CCG and says that the decreases in patients across the county is begging to slow.
Across North Yorkshire 23 people remain in the county’s hospitals with coronavirus, with five patients in Intensive Care.
