In a fantastic days dragon boat racing at the North Yorkshire Water Park on Sunday, Form 360 Fitness Centre won an exciting grand final just piping Barons Health & Fitness Centre to the trophy.
Fashionable Fitness – 3D Leisure came in third, with Wold Top Brewery fourth in what turned out to be a very close encounter after a full days racing.
The Rotary Club of Scarborough Cavaliers President, Richard Creasey said :
“It was really great to get back racing after a 3-year enforced break due to the pandemic and all the teams put on a stunning show.”
“It was our best ever turn out with 24 teams and I can only thank the paddlers and sponsors, together with our partners Dawnay Estates, for supporting the event,”

The event has raised almost £11,000 so far for local charities and organisations with more to follow over the next few weeks, with the final total being announced at the presentation evening next month.
The Rotary Club will be staging an BBQ evening at the Downe Arms Country Inn on July 13 when all the funds raised will be handed out to the nominated charities in the presence of Viscount Downe.
