A previously hidden library garden, near Scarborough, is now open to the public.
After a year's COVID delay a new garden is now available to library users in Newby and Scalby.
Isobel Nixon, from the library, says the garden looked great last summer, but no one was able to see it.
She's hoping this year it will provide a tranquil place to read a book:
The library team have transformed an unused space at the rear of the building in to a garden which library users can sit in to read a book but which will also double as a useful event space.
