North Yorkshire police say they have invested in an extensive new fleet of cars and motorbikes to ensure they have the very best tools to help with the fight against crime in the county.
The new vehicles include both marked and unmarked hi performance cars which are equipped with multiple cameras capable of streaming footage in real time to the force control room.
Assistant Chief Constable Elliot Foskett features in a video released by the force highlighting the benefits of the new fleet.
North Yorkshire Police say:
"If you’re thinking of committing a crime in our area, then be aware, you will come up against several high-performance vehicles which are being driven by experienced roads policing officers.
These vehicles are now in use 24-7, so if you’re using North Yorkshire’s 6000 miles of road then keep your eyes peeled."
