Bridlington Town councillors have elected the new mayor and deputy mayor.
Bridlington Town Council has announced that Councillor John Arthur has been appointed as the Mayor of Bridlington and his wife, Mrs Diane Arthur will be his Mayoress for the forthcoming civic year 2023-2024.
His chosen Charity is to be determined shortly.
The Deputy Mayor of Bridlington for 2023-2024 is Councillor Rick Arrand and his Deputy Mayoress is Mrs Kim Arrand.

Sergeant Josh Owen as been confirmed as the Mayors Cadet 2023-2024.
Sergeant Owen is a member of the 252 (Bridlington) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
