Police say a man has been arrested on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle in Bridlington.
It was reported that a vehicle had been stolen from the town at about 5:00pm on Monday.
Officers located the vehicle and brought it to a stop near Howden, where a man tried to flee.
He was arrested after being located on the B1230 shortly after and remains in custody at this time.
