Deliberate actions in Scarborough for late night fire calls.
Firefighters in Scarborough attended a fire involving a wheelie bin that spread to approximately 6 square metres of garden fencing.
It was on Blueberry Way in the town around 10.40pm on Saturday night.
Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.
Crews gave advice to nearby residents. The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
Less than two hours later, the Scarborough crew were called to an automatic fire alarm activation in a public car park.
This was found to be caused by the malicious activation of a call point.
