The event is being marked at Scarborough's Sealife Centre which plays an active role in rescuing injured Seals washed up on the Yorkshire Coast.
Sealife Curator - Todd German - says the team are also currently looking after a number of visiting seals.
Meanwhile visitors to the Yorkshire Coast are being urged not to approach any seals they see on local beaches this Easter.
Todd says it's quite normal for seals to rest on local beaches - he says they should be left alone.
Todd says there are two main species of Seals that can be seen along the Yorkshire Coast.
With the Easter School holiday starting this weekend the team at the Sealife Centre have been busy preparing for the visitor season.
Todd says they have revamped a number of areas for 2024.
