Hunmanby Surgery staff are walking from the doctor's to Sewerby Hall via the coastal route on Saturday.
It's to raise money for Elsie's Arc- a local young lady, aged 3 who was diagnosed with metastatic Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma who sadly passed away on January 3rd 2024 and also to raise money for The Christie Charity.
Sadly a much-loved and missed colleague who worked at Hunmanby Surgery sadly died from CUP (Cancer of Unknown Primary) a few years ago.
Staff are are also doing the walk to promote team building within the surgery "family" whilst promoting healthy exercise, but the main reason is the charities.
They are also meeting halfway to have a picnic and meet staff who are unable to walk the event.
