A Strictly star and BBC presenter is spearheading a new national way to get people dancing, with dancers in Hunmanby taking part.
Angela Rippon is spearheading “LET’S DANCE!” a fantastic, national initiative, which takes place on Sunday.
Angela’s journey on Strictly Come Dancing made her so aware of the incredible benefits of regular dancing, that she’s now on a mission to get the whole nation dancing!
“LET’S DANCE!” is all about making dance accessible to everyone, with a focus on encouraging people to embrace the joy and the physical and mental health and wellbeing benefits of dancing and making new friends.
Hunmanby Square Dance Group told us:
'We’re joining in and invite you to join in with us at our dance, which is open to everyone and will incorporate a wide range of music Sunday 2 March 2025 1.30 pm to 4 pm at Hunmanby Community Centre 35 Stonegate, Hunmanby YO14 0NS Free entry. Donations to the new Hunmanby Youth Club welcome.
