The HGV diver shortage is having an impact on the Fire service in North Yorkshire.
The increased demand for drivers is impacting on the county's on-all fire provision.
Deputy Chief Fire Officer Jonathan Dyson says many of the on-call fire fighters are HGV drivers and they're availability is being affected by increased demand from their regular employers.
Jonathan Dyson says there have been a number of other factors which have also affected the forces service levels over the summer including the ping-demic.
