Scarborough Athletic boss Jonathan Greening has set his sights on promotion from the National League North as the season edges closer.
Boro open their campaign with a tough trip to Peterborough Sports on Saturday 5th August before welcoming Banbury to the Flamingo Land Stadium a week later.
Greening admits that promotion is his main aim but that he would love a long cup run as well.
Last season Boro suffered early exit's in both FA cup competitions. They were edged out, 3-2, by Curzon Ashton having taken the game to extra time.
In the FA Trophy, Boro slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Northern Premier League outfit Marine.
Jonathan Greening is hoping to put his sides poor run of form in cup competitions behind them and hopefully make some additional money for the club.
