Filming has been taking place in Ravenscar & Scarborough for a German TV crime drama.
A German based TV and film production company have been shooting scenes in Ravenscar and Scarborough today for a new detective serial for German TV network ARD.
UFA Fiction say 'The Search' is based on a novel by best selling German author Charlotte link.
It's being turned in to a two part TV drama.
The filming has mostly been in a garden at a private property in Ravenscar, but there has been some filming in the village itself. The Filming is taking place alongside shoots on the Moors and in Leeds.
The film companies crew have been working in a COVID bubble for a number of weeks and are being tested twice weekly.
The production will star Henny Reents as London Scotland Yard officer Kate Linville.
Filming on the entire project is due to be completed this month.
