The seven day infection rate has continued to rise across the Borough.
It now stands at 254 cases for every 100,000 people that's up from 214 on Friday.
The average across North Yorkshire is 129, the average across England is 282.
Neighbouring Hambleton and Ryedale are at 78 and 80 respectively.
The increasing numbers lead leaders in the county to warn on Friday that the Borough risks entering Tier 3 restrictions if cases are not bought under control.
While the relaxation of the COVID rules over Christmas do still allow for the mixing of three bubbles on Christmas day in both tiers 2 and 3, Richard Webb from the Local Resilience Forum says that with infection rates rising in the Scarborough Borough we all have to ask ourselves if doing so is wise.
Richard says if you do need to meet other households on Christmas day then you should take steps now to minimise other contacts.
