North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue saved a man trapped in a vehicle attempting to cross a ford on Thursday.
Crews from Whitby, Malton, Selby, Robin Hoods Bay and Lythe responded to reports of a male trapped in a vehicle which had been swept away from a ford.
The drama unfolded on Front Street, in Grosmont, just after 1.30pm.
The officers rescued the man using technical water rescue equipment.
